Hello gentlemen, firstly thanks for stopping by my profile.
I guess this is the hardest bit but I am going to give it a shot.
You are not going to find anything about life journey/adventures/long walks on the beach or indeed anything about laughter or glass half full attitude and the best bit- nothing about yoga or gluten intolerance. (Dont want to enact the GROLIES stereotype! Ok, go on and google it but do come back).
I would love to tell you what my friends think of me but honestly, I dont know as I havent asked. I
suppose they would say that I am a warm, thoughtful and witty person (obviously!) but also, that I can be quite forthright and assertive (tendency for my mouth to operate faster than my brain when exasperated ) when required.
Like anyone else, my family values, upbringing and life experiences have shaped the person I am and my outlook on life. To my granny who raised me, I owe my caring and generous nature. To my mum, my hero(ine)- tenacity, conscientiousness , enthusiasm and my backbone! Dad- somewhat melancholic temperament and dry wit.
The first thing you may notice about me is my eyes which are perfectly nice (but I've been advised that I sometimes have a piercing, unnerving gaze when I concentrate).

"Passionate" is an overloaded word but what is important to me (in no particular order is):
Loyalty.
Manners (Dont "babe" me or send me a "wink" if you dont know me. And preferably, even if you do).
"Me" time.
Fitness (and following on from that) hand cream and dry shampoo.
I am grateful for my amazing friends; my job which can be sometimes frantic and overwhelming but also from which I derive immense satisfaction ; besides, it helps me live my life my way.
This is my epic attempt at self description- the rest is for me to know and you to find out. ie if it has tickled your fancy.

I am not really a tick box person . I am looking for a decent and loving man with whom I can connect not just on a physical but on a deeper emotional level ; someone to guard my back and who will have my back even when the "new car smell" of the relationship has long faded and the passion is spent. I am independent and have my circle of close friends and don’t need a lot of hand holding and I’m not necessarily looking for a provider/carer! But it would be nice to have someone to do things with, go places with, walking hand in hand, or sometimes to just be, sitting next to each other, in silence and peace….the simple things which are so hard to find!
I also have a gorgeous boy, aged 11 ( who is away at Dad’s most weekends) and 2 very loving budgies who don’t talk...yet ... but we live in hope.
