I’m not that good at selling myself but here goes…
Born and raised in London to an English dad and Scottish mum and now resident in leafy Bedfordshire. I like being outdoors whether it be at the coast or walking around an interesting city or town. I’m easy going and like to think I can hold a conversation about most things but I steer clear of politics and religion. I have old fashioned manners so if a man holding a door open for you offends then please, move along, nothing to see here…
I like learning about stuff and the history and geography of our country fascinates me. I’m afraid I’m allergic to football, cats & dogs, TV soaps and ‘celebrity’ shows.
I’m quite tactile and love holding hands and stealing kisses. I like to cook and explore new dishes and don’t trust anyone with my ironing. I still work full time and could retire if I wanted but while I can work I will.
I like sailing but haven’t been able to enjoy that lately. My ideal holiday is being on the water, from boating on the Norfolk Broads to windsurfing in the Med. I’m not one for package holidays and tourist traps and when abroad I like to go off piste, down the side streets and find where the locals eat and drink.
My interests and music tastes are wide and varied but you’ll mostly find reggae/Motown/soul/funk/ska on my car stereo. I’ve got a motorbike but I’m not a biker by any means, it’s simply there to blow away the cobwebs when the need arises.
I’m happy to chat and if it goes further then that would be a bonus. I believe that if someone is meant to be in my life then they will be. I may have turned 63 but I’m not ready for the pipe and slippers just yet!
