About her
Having spent many years in various aspects of the nursing profession including being a lecturer, and a stint as an air hostess as we were then called, I am enjoying a well earned retirement. I swim and hike regularly. I enjoy most sports including football, rugby and tennis. My privileged career was based mostly in the community therefore social justice is very important to me.
I am a lifetime theatregoer including opera and ballet and am a member of the local arts cinema. Before nursing, I was an art student. The visual arts remain vital to me.
I am a Londoner who is now in this semi rural part of England but I have lived and worked abroad as well as moving around the UK. I am in London frequently and am a member of a London club. I have friends on every inhabited continent and look forward to visiting them all again soon. Join me?

As I am sure many on here would say, there is no such thing as an ideal match. Kindness, honesty and integrity are a given. Being able to relish the moment and see the ridiculousness in most things are valuable assets too. Widely read and engaged with the World would be good. Intelligence and the ability easily express yourself in any company would be wonderful. Curious about life and the World.
